By the grace and blessings from Allah, the Islamic Center of Portage and Vicinity’s new Masjid building exterior construction has been completed. We are now proceeding with the next steps for construction of the interior of the Masjid. Please donate for the sake of Allah and contribute to this next phase of construction!

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that:

The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow's nest for Allah or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."

Classed as Sahih (authentic) by Shiekh al-Albani

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ كَمَفْحَصِ قَطَاةٍ أَوْ أَصْغَرَ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ ‏

صححه الألباني

All amounts will help, whether big or small inshaAllah. May Allah reward you with a House in Jannah. We ask Allah to enable us to open the doors to the masjid soon with your generous help.

  • عَنْ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ  

    مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ

  • Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, reported Allah's Messenger peace be upon him as saying, “If anyone builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build a house for him in paradise.”

    Reported by Bukhari and Muslim

  • قال الله تعالى في كتابه الكريم: ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِيهِ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌۭ

    سورة الحديد آية ٧

  • Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you who believe and spend (in Allah's Way), theirs will be a great reward.

    Surat al-Hadid ayah 7

  • عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: قَالَ اللَّهُ: أَنْفِقْ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، أُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ

    رواه البخاري ومسلم

  • On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.
